The Skyway Cafe

Located on Felts field in Spokane makes it a

breeze to get to. The restaurant sits right on

the field. When landing tell the tower your

heading to the Skyway for breakfest and they'll

let you park right up front. You eat a great

breakfest and look at your plane at the same

time. Felts is a towered airport and you will

need a transponder to land there.

The Hanger Inn

Located on Thun field in Puyallup makes this a

choice for good weather. The flight to Thun is

over the mountains to the West side of the

hills. The scenery is awesome with a close up

view of Mt Rainer for over half the trip. The

Hanger Inn sits right on the airport with plenty of

parking and has Spencer Air right next door for

a little pilot induced shopping trip while you let y

breakfest settle in. This trip will take you into

the 30 mile circle for Class Bravo airspace so a

transponder will be required.

Located in Desert Aire makes this a choice for

a quick hop, being just 20 minutes down the

Columbia from Wenatchee. Homey

atmosphere, large helpings and friendly staff

makes this a fun stop for all. The restaurant is a

10 minute walk from the airport and signs tell

which way to go. At the east end of the airport

is a new tie down area making it nice and close

to town. There is no requirement of a

transponder for this trip.
